To Import a COMOS Cable List

Launch Bentley Raceway and Cable Management and select the BRCM Metric Example WorkSpace and the COMOS_SAMPLE template.

Load the desired drawing file.

Select the Cable List Import option from the Equipment & Cable ribbon.

Select the CableList_COMOS.xls and IMPORT_CableList_COMOS.xml files from the following location: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\BRCM CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces\BRCM Metric Example\Worksets\COMOS_SAMPLE\Standards\BRCM\Documents

Those templates are matching the default templates for the cable list exported from COMOS.

The cable list exported from the COMOS_SAMPLE template will be imported into Bentley Raceway and Cable Management and used for cable management.

Once the cable management process is completed, the same format of cable list with the final cable length can be exported from Bentley Raceway and Cable Management and imported back to COMOS.
